An online presentation of Encyclopaedia Britannica, Britannica.com was much more than just an encylopedia. Thousands of website and book reviews, hundreds of feature articles, and an assortment of interactive, multi-media features supplemented EB's world famous collection of knowledge during its run as a free website from 1997 to 2000. As B.com's senior science editor, I was able to write or edit more than one thousand pieces for print and the internet and participated in the editorial production of interactive presentations on coral reefs, human anatomy, and a variety of other science topics.
